Una piel con tono dorado podría marcar la diferencia entre ganadores y perdedores.
Un reciente estudio de la Universidad de Nottingham, en Malasia, concluyó que los hombres con un tono de piel de tintes dorados son preferidos por las mujeres. Antes se creía que ellas encontraban más lindos a hombres con caras relativamente largas, pómulos prominentes, cejas pobladas o mandíbula definida; y que los eligían, instintivamente, por creer que estos rasgos son signos de buena salud, que luego transmitirían a sus hijos.
No obstante según este estudio, la cantidad de color dorado en la cara es un mejor indicador para eso. Los tonos dorados en la piel probablemente provienen de los pigmentos y antioxidantes de las frutas y hortalizas que consumimos en nuestra dieta, por lo que el estudio demuestra que una cara bonita está directamente relacionada con la salud, sobre todo si su alimentación es saludable.
