Este lunes la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA) anunció los candidatos a la 74 edición de los Globos de Oro. La ceremonia será presentada por Jimmy Fallon y se realizará el próximo 8 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton
Entre los nominados, la cinta chilena “Neruda”, de Pablo Larraín, será una de las que competirá por el premio a la mejor película extranjera
En competencia a mejor película de comedia o musical, se encuentran«La La Land”, “Deadpool”, “20th Century Women”, “Sing Street” y “Florence Foster Jenkins”.
Por otro lado, “Hacksaw Ridge”, “Hell or High Water”, “Lion”, “Manchester by the Sea” y “Moonlight” competirán como mejor película dramática.
En cuanto a las series, “Atlanta”, “Blackish”, “Mozart in the Jungle”, “Transparent” y “Veep” son las candidatas a mejor serie de comedia y “Game of Thrones”, “The Crown”, “Westworld”, “Stranger Things” y “This Is Us” son las nominadas como mejor serie dramática.
El mexicano Gael García fue nominado hoy de nuevo a mejor actor en una serie de comedia o musical por su papel en “Mozart in the Jungle” (galardón que ya se llevó el año pasado).
Cabe destacar, que en esta gala la actriz Meryl Streep ganadora de ganadora de ocho de esos galardones, recibirá el premio Cecil B. DeMille en reconocimiento a su trayectoria cinematográfica.
