Duques de Sussex asisten a su último acto como miembros de la Realeza

La tarde de este lunes, los Duques de Sussex asistieron a su última ceremonia como miembros de la Familia Real. El evento, se llevó  cabo en la abadía de Westminster en Londres, con motivo del Día de la Commonwealth (mancomunidad de excolonias y protectorados británicos).

A la ceremonia oficial, asistieron también los Duques de Cambridge, el Príncipe William y Kate Middleton.

La Reina Isabel II presidió la ceremonia, y a diferencia del año pasado, todos los Duques esperaron sentados la llegada de la soberana, en lugar de seguirla en una procesión. Este pequeño acto, según informó Infobae, es una muestra de los cambios de la monarquía británica.

Este evento, no fue la única actividad que los Duques de Sussex realizaron en su estadía en Reino Unido, también asistieron a un festival militar en el Royal Albert Hall y una visita a una escuela pública del este de Londres.

El Príncipe Harry y Meghan anunciaron a inicios de enero que renunciarían a la Familia y el 31 de este mes, se llevará a cabo su salida oficial, donde dejarán de ser Sus Altezas Reales y recibir dinero del Estado.
